More than half century ago pilgrimages have started and people still walk through the same pathes. The question is why, when the God is dead, people are still determining for an ascension and the comforts are exchanged to the surprises and challenges of the journey? One of the most famous religions‘ researchers Mircea Eliade claims that man has been religious for thousands of years and had a mythical time. The time that does not belong to everyday, that pulls the man out of the routine and is appointed to sacradness. I think people are subconsciously longing this mythical time and rituals devoted to it. The jewelry collection “Pedes in Terra Caput in Caelo“ is a story about a personal trip to Santiago de Compostela and a way to recover and preserve what is slowly sinking into oblivion.
